Governor General of Canada The Governor General of Canada presents the awards at a special ceremony at Rideau Hall.

National Gallery of Canada

National Gallery of Canada The National Gallery of Canada organizes a special group exhibition, comprised of works by the award winners from the National Gallery collection and loans from other institutions. The Gallery co-hosts, with the Canada Council, a media preview and an exhibition opening where members of the public are invited to meet the winners. 2016 opening: Thursday, March 24.

The Samuel and Saidye Bronfman Family Foundation The Saidye Bronfman Award for excellence in fine craft is made possible through a $1.5 million endowment from The Samuel and Saidye Bronfman Family Foundation.

Independent Media Arts Alliance

Independent Media Arts Alliance The Independent Media Arts Alliance supports the award’s video project by promoting the artistic video portraits of the winners through its extensive network of Canadian filmmakers and production centres.

Royal Canadian Mint

The Royal Canadian Mint produces the medallions for the Awards that are presented to the winners.

Canadian Museum of History

Canadian Museum of History Each year, the Canadian Museum of History purchases an artwork from the Saidye Bronfman Award winner for its national collection.

Air Canada

Air Canada offers the 2016 videos on its national and international flights from April to May.
